Neonatologist

• Doctorate/Master’s in Neonatology or Paediatrics with Fellowship in Neonatology, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience after post-graduation
• Oman license or eligibility to apply for Oman license.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized medical care to newborns, premature infants, and critically ill neonates
• Manage neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients and monitor treatment progress
• Diagnose and treat neonatal medical conditions, congenital disorders, and birth complications
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and emergency stabilization when required
• Coordinate with obstetricians, paediatricians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive newborn care
• Counsel parents regarding neonatal conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely documentation
• Deliver patient care in line with best clinical practices, patient safety standards, and Oman healthcare regulations
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professional ethics
• Provide compassionate, professional, and family-centered care
