Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Strong experience in managing emergency and acute medical conditions in a hospital emergency department.
• Expertise in emergency assessment, resuscitation, stabilization, and management of critically ill patients.
• Experience in managing trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory emergencies, stroke, sepsis, and other acute conditions.
• Strong skills in emergency procedures, resuscitation, and critical decision-making.
• Any UAE License / DHA / MOH / SHA Eligibility.
• Asian nationality preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Manage a wide range of acute medical, surgical, traumatic, and life-threatening conditions.
• Perform emergency procedures and interventions as clinically required.
• Conduct rapid clinical assessments and prioritize patients according to the severity of their condition.
• Manage cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, stroke, sepsis, trauma, and other critical presentations.
• Perform and participate in advanced cardiac and trauma resuscitation when required.
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests, imaging, ECGs, and other diagnostic investigations.
• Initiate appropriate treatment plans and arrange specialist referrals or admissions when required.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists, surgeons, intensivists, nurses, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Provide appropriate patient and family communication regarding diagnosis, treatment, and disposition.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of emergency assessments, procedures, treatment, and patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, emergency protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Participate in emergency preparedness, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education activities.
