Interventional Cardiologist

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiology.
• Fellowship / advanced qualification in Interventional Cardiology preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Strong experience in interventional cardiology and management of complex cardiovascular conditions.
• Proven expertise in coronary interventions, including coronary angiography and PCI.
• Experience in managing acute coronary syndromes and other complex cardiac conditions.
• Strong procedural skills with a well-documented interventional case logbook.
• Any UAE License / DHA / MOH / SHA Eligibility.
• Indian nationality preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
• Evaluate and manage patients with acute coronary syndromes, coronary artery disease, and other complex cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assess patients before procedures and provide appropriate post-procedure monitoring and care.
• Interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, cardiac imaging, and other relevant diagnostic investigations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients’ clinical conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when required.
• Respond appropriately to cardiac emergencies and provide timely intervention.
• Coordinate patient care with cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, nurses, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Provide counselling and education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate medical records, procedure reports, and clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, multidisciplinary meetings, and continuing medical education activities.
