Endoscopy Technician

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Allied Health Sciences with specialised training in Endoscopy or equivalent
• Freshers can also be considered
• Valid DOH approval / license as Endoscopy Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy rooms, instruments, and equipment before procedures
• Assist physicians and nurses during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures
• Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilisation, and storage of endoscopic instruments
• Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
• Monitor and report equipment malfunctions or procedural concerns promptly
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, equipment usage, and sterilisation logs
• Manage inventory of endoscopy supplies and consumables
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital quality standards at all times
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics
• Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centred support
