Sonographer

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Sonography, Medical Imaging, Radiology, Sonography, or a relevant healthcare discipline.
• Relevant professional qualification or certification in Sonography.
• Relevant clinical experience as a Sonographer.
• Proficiency in performing a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Experience with general, abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, and small-parts ultrasound preferred.
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Any UAE Licence / DHA Eligibility.
• Strong technical, analytical, and patient-care skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician referrals and clinical requirements.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images using appropriate ultrasound techniques.
• Perform abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and other ultrasound examinations within the scope of training and clinical privileges.
• Ensure accurate patient identification, history-taking, positioning, and preparation before examinations.
• Recognize and document relevant findings and communicate urgent or significant findings to the appropriate physician.
• Maintain accurate examination records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure proper operation, cleanliness, and basic maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
• Follow radiation-free imaging safety practices, infection-control procedures, and hospital protocols.
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients throughout examinations.
