Surgical Gastroenterologist

• Doctorate / Master’s in General Surgery with specialisation in Surgical Gastroenterology or equivalent
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience after post-graduation
• Valid UAE license or DHA / MOH registration
• Arab nationals preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgical conditions
• Perform elective and emergency gastrointestinal surgical procedures within granted privileges
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and formulate appropriate surgical treatment plans
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery outcomes
• Manage minimally invasive/laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgeries when applicable
• Coordinate with gastroenterologists, anaesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely follow-up on investigations and treatment outcomes
• Deliver patient care in line with best clinical practices, patient safety standards, and UAE healthcare regulations
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professional ethics
• Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centred care at all times
